- What? Although there are many different definitions for Child Abuse; it is mainly the emotional, physical, or sexual abuse of a child.
The abuse can cause development issues and mental health problems. - Why? Child abuse can happen when an adult feels the need to be superior over another. It can occur when someone is stressed, is lacking in skills, or overwhelmed by the pressures of taking care of a child.
- Who? Anyone can be a child abuser. Anyone who knows the child or doesn't. Every size, shape, and age can become a child abuser.
- When? A child can be abused anywhere. Whether it's at home with a parent or a babysitter, or it's in public.
